This ring features my favorite turquoise, natural Stone Mountain. I acquired this cabochon directly from the miners themselves. It's almost teal in color with gorgeous earthy matrix. I set it in a serrated sterling silver bezel setting, then surrounded it with twist/rope wire and formed scallops with the same wire. I love how this design turned out.
The shank/band is a wider at 3/8" on the palm side where it's narrowest, and a triple split shank that I made from one ornately patterned middle wire, as well as two outer Crazy 8 style wires that are somewhat flat with rounded, soft edges.
The back plate is textured with a trillium pattern and stamped with my LUPANYXA makers marks and 925 for Sterling Silver.
The face of the ring measures 1 5/8" in length and 1 1/8" wide
