THEE FERAL FAE HAIR COMB CROWN- All Fine and Sterling Silver

This larger sized hair comb crown was entirely hand fabricated from recycled fine and sterling silver that was melted down, hammered and rolled out and formed, one piece at a time, down to the individual teeth of the comb that are my own design that makes them tangle free. I also love the way these stylized leaves turned out, and left them a bit smooth so as to catch the light.  I'm absolutely in love with making them, and have been obsessed with antique hair accessories since I was just a kid. 

This one-of-a-kind comb would make a lovely gift and has a look and feel from another place and time. I imagine someone wearing this comb high like a crown in a head of wild hair. I suggest teasing or back combing your hair just a bit, before putting the comb in. You can also use bobby pins and hair products to help secure it further. I currently have shoulder length, baby fine and slippery hair, and I can wear all of these combs easily with a little styling. Those with course, thicker, longer and curly hair can simply pop the combs in their locks more easily.

It measures 3 7/8" wide and 2 3/4" tall.

The back is stamped with my LUPANYXA makers mark and 925 for STERLING.

As always, all edges were meticulously filed, sanded and polished buttery smooth.

Ready to ship and will be fully insured, and come gift boxed in a hand stained wood treasure box and packaged with care. Please be aware that if you aren't going to be home when the package is scheduled to arrive, it's best to make arrangements ahead of time..
